Lance Huthwaite, DMD
Dr. Lance Huthwaite has been practicing dentistry in Gainesville since 1994. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Dr. Huthwaite enjoys receiving many hours of continuing education each year. This allows him to provide his patients with the newest procedures and latest technology in an effort to create the most comfortable dental experience possible. Much of this training occurs at the Center for Advanced Dental Studies and the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
Dr. Huthwaite is a member of the Northern District Dental Society, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Hinman Dental Society. He is also a proud member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and is certified in the administration of BOTOX® for the treatment of TMJ pain, bruxism, and migraine headaches as well as the use of BOTOX and dermal fillers for cosmetic purposes.
In his free time, Dr. Huthwaite enjoys cooking, photography, music, winemaking, and golf.
Amy Huthwaite-Dupree, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Amy, CFO and co-owner of Huthwaite Family Dentistry, graduated from Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1994. She was inspired to become a dentist when her mother was diagnosed with oral cancer during Amy’s first year of college. She took time off from college to help care for her mother during the grueling months of surgeries and radiation treatments. Although the prognosis was not good, her mother survived. Decades later, Dr. Amy is proud to have her mom as a true success story: cancer-free with a beautiful smile! Dr. Amy pledges to treat each and every patient as she would want herself or a member of her family to be treated.
Dr. Amy is a member of the Hinman Dental society, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association. the Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Northern District Dental Society. She holds the honor of having achieved Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentists. Only 6% of dentists achieve this! Dr. Amy teaches senior dental school students during their extemships in Gainesville. She volunteers regularly at the Green Warren Dental Clinic at Good News at Noon. She is also a volunteer for Dental Lifeline Network which provides free dental care to people in need.
Trained and qualified to do all types of dentistry from root canals to veneers, Dr. Amy also provides extractions, implants, Botox, Juvederm, clear a lIgners, snore appliances, Zoom whitening, dentures and partials. Dr. Amy, her husband, Steven, and their French bulldog, Roscoe, live in Dawsonvillle. She has two grown daughters, Addison and Cosette. Her free time is taken up with reading, running, camping and enjoying her blessed life!
